Here’s an easy and healthy waffle recipe that uses Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes mix with some added flex to please the hungriest bears in your family!
Ingredients2 cups Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes mix1/3 cup oat bran2 eggs, separated2 cups milk 2 Tbsp butter, melted and cooled1 Tbsp oil1 cup roughly chopped The Classic pecans, plus some for topping
DirectionsSeparate egg whites into mixing bowl and whip until stiff peaks form, set aside. In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks together with milk, butter and oil. Add dry ingredients and stir, do not overmix. Fold in egg whites until incorporated, again, do not overmix! Fold in Fortune Favors The Classic and allow to sit for 15 minutes before cooking while you prepare toppings — suggest blueberries, strawberries, vanilla yogurt, butter, maple syrup, and plenty of Fortune Favors The Classic!Cook waffles according to your waffle iron’s capacity and heat settings, and serve hot. Freeze extra waffles and reheat at 375 degrees F for 8–10 minutes.
